Sabbath rest is more than just taking the needed breaks for rest. Sabbath gives a rhythm to our lives – a rhythm not based upon the patterns of this world – but one that causes us to continually reflect upon God’s order, God’s design, and the value God places on the work we put our hands to each day.

Check out this five minute follow up to my recent sermon at the Summer Nights of Worship on the Gospel and Work from our Gospel in Life series (based on the work by Timothy Keller). The last point from my sermon had to do with Sabbath Rest, but unfortunately we just ran out of time before I could get to it. I hope you find it helpful!
