King of All, Not of Some: Palm Sunday Encounter (Sermon Audio)

This was the third year Encounter Worship fell on Palm Sunday. It’s proving to be a marvelous way to kick off Holy Week! Last night, we worshipped, we fellowshipped, and we considered what it means when the Believers cries out, “Hosanna!”

Palm Sunday was a moment of great insight, and great misunderstanding. Jesus was the long awaited king, but he did not take his throne the way the people thought he would on that day. Not by so called mighty works that was expected. Rather, Jesus took his crown by taking the cross. And that way is better by far!

Here is my sermon from Encounter, March 29.https://joelharder.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/032915_encounter.mp3

We began by watching this amazing illustration by Dan Stevers, King of Kings.
