10/40 Prayer Vigil May 30-31

The 10/40 Prayer Vigil at FBCA

Hear from Joel Harder and Caleb Pike about this opportunity to intercede for missionaries and mission efforts currently underway to reach the lost living in the most unevangelized region of the world.

WHAT: 10/40 Prayer Vigil at FBCA

WHERE: FBCA Chapel

DATE: Friday night May 30, going through the night to Saturday morning, May 31

TIME: We’ll begin, very appropriately, at 10:40 PM and conclude at 10:40 AM Saturday morning.

PURPOSE:

  1. Come together an intercede as Scripture Commands for unreached people to encounter the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

  2. The 10/40 window represents the largest concentration of unevangelized people in the world today.

WHAT IS THE 10/40 WINDOW:

  1. The area from roughly 10 to 40 degrees north latitude running across North Africa, the Middle East, India and China – this is the 10/40 Window.

  2. Over half the world’s population live in this region, most with little to no access to the Gospel.

  3. 95 Percent of the world’s least reached people groups live there.

12 HOURS OF PRAYER?

  1. Planned times of dynamic worship throughout the night

  2. Also, hear how God is advancing His Kingdom from Missionaries and other Field Workers living in the 10/40 Window right now.

  3. Discover FBCA efforts and mission trips currently underway and planned for 2014.

  4. All with dedicated times for all kinds of prayer: guided corporate prayer, prayer walking, and individual prayer.

DO I HAVE TO STAY ALL 12 HOURS?

We’d love you to BUT

  1. Come for the beginning

  2. Come Saturday morning

  3. Come and go through the night as you are able

  4. Schedule for the night will be available online if you cannot join us at the chapel but want to pray from home with us.
